Here is a chance to get started in BOX MAKING.

This class, taught by Linda Ferber  linda@woodturner.org,  is designed to be an easy to make introduction to box making.
Supplies:
Two small pieces of complimentary wood: bottom 3 1/2 x 2" height, top 3 1/2 x 1" height could be 1/2 to 3/4"
Suggested Tools: small bowl gouges, parting tool, & or hunter tools, Scrapers
Finishes and sandpaper
