Rudy Lopez Thin Stemmed Goblet Class

February 1st 2020 12:30pm after monthly meeting and lunch.

Pro Turner Rudy Lopez will show us how to turn a Thin Stemmed Goblet.

You will need to bring your own wood. See Rudy's PDFs for wood sizes. You will be turning using a Jet 12/21.

Wood required; Green Limb sections approx... 1 3⁄4” – 2 1⁄2” dia. about 12” long. Best to be left in long log

sections to be cut to length the day of class to avoid end checks.

Tools needed: 5/8 or (3/8 at about 40 degrees) fingernail grind bowl gouge

1 inch metal cutting drill bit if you have one.

Hollowing tools like a hook tool.

Negative Rake Scrapper.
