What: This is a hands-on Danish Platter Class

Join your instructor Dan Larson as he guides you through the steps to produce a scalloped edge platter from Edge Glued Pine 12” Round Panels (Ten dollar material fee payable to instructor). Some lathe experience is recommended as many of the cuts necessary to complete the project are fine finishing cuts. Good tool control will be emphasized as grain direction, tear out and flatness of the finished platter are all a consideration. The scalloped rim will be formed using a step by step process as we use lathe indexing for the pattern layout.
