Ready to try something new in your turning? Come and learn to make a traditional Irish platter in a style that comes form Flanders Cross, County Carlow, Ireland. Students will be making an 11” platter while learning and using a variety cuts. Dick will also show you the basics of lathe operation, safety, as well as the selection and preparation of wood for turning a platter.
