Sharpening class basics
Join Jim Zangl and Dan Larson as they walk you through the basics of sharpening.
2 classes times are being offered on Sat, May 11th, 2024.
9:00 am -12:00 and 1:00- 4:00pm
Each class will be limited to 4 students and the class fee is $30
Jim and Dan will review sharpening the bowl gouge with an Ellsworth grind and a 40/40 grind.
Other tools that will be reviewed include:
Roughing Gouge
Spindle gouge to a fingernail grind
The Skew
Shear scraper
parting tool
So bring your tools and learn how to get that good sharp edge!
